resman* NHS EBME is an easy to operate and flexible web designed and Risk based equipment register and maintenance management system, designed specifically for professionals in EBME departments in the NHS and private healthcare. The system conforms to Accounting Standards, ISO 8601:2004 Calendar model, and Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM) as per the SAE JA101 Standard, and assists in conforming to DB 2006(05) Managing Medical Devices. The EBME system comprises a Risk based equipment register; helpdesk; planned preventive maintenance; work planning and scheduling; job costing; stock control; dynamic personnel system including training; contract management; equipment library; reporting and optional purchase order processing.

You can drill down from the NHS EBME equipment list into work in progress and work history, and drill down into historical jobs from a current job. There are seamless links to MHRA safety action bulletins, hazard notices, CAD technical drawings, digital photographs, the web, and any equipment related documentation. There is extensive use of colour coded datasheet views for ease of viewing, finding, filtering and reporting, and full Risk based management.

The NHS EBME system is easily set up, and existing data structures can be retained by using user defined fields, standard within the system. Both standard and bespoke reports are available, with full access to the data tables for authorised users.

The NHS EBME system scales from single user to full network installation with Internet or Intranet based enterprise wide Browser access. Windows Mobile technology is also being utilised, and video presentations of PDA based Work Processing and Asset Tracking and Condition Appraisal are available.
