Transport Servicing
Resman Transport Servicing has been designed to meet the requirements of a busy NHS Transport Servicing Department or any Vehicle Service Depot.
Choosing Resman Transport Servicing will provide your department with the tools and information to efficiently process work, ensure that parts, labour and other costs are recovered and accounted for, and that work flow is managed efficiently.
The system comprises a Customer Ledger to retain and maintain information regarding contact details, type of organisation, payment terms etc,. and to identify in-house, other NHS Organisations, Voluntary or Commercial organisations. Vehicles are linked to the Customer Ledger providing MOT Rates and other Cost schedules associated with Vehicle Types. A schedule of Labour Rates is maintained to provide an accurate overall charge, together with Sub-Contractor details who provide specialist services. A Stock system to record parts used complements the other features, and provides a record of both cost and selling prices.
Individual jobs are booked to the system, and can be entered and completed immediately, or visited and updated as often as required, depending on the availability of parts. Jobs can be suspended and reintroduced to accommodate parts availability or changes to bookings.
Recorded Job Details include the Vehicle's mileage, a full text description of the work details, sub contract costs, labour hours, and parts used. The system calculates all of the individual costs, and a grand total including VAT, and dates will default during each stage of processing. A unique job reference is automatically produced, providing an Audit Trail. Completed jobs are automatically archived providing a facility to view and report completed jobs at any time.
The Reports menu includes a Customer Invoice, Service Record and Accounts Invoice Copy.
The system is shipped with Microsoft Office at the heart of the system, and includes comprehensive on-line html help. Versions exist from single user through to full networked installations with Internet or Intranet based enterprise wide Browser access to the software.
